A prayer for faith
Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge my need of You and of your forgiveness. Thank you that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again so that I could be forgiven and set free.
Lord, I am sorry for the thinks I have done wrong in my life. I ask you to please forgive me.
(Take a few moments to ask His forgiveness for any particular things that are weighing on you.)
Thank you, Lord Jesus. I now receive your forgiveness on the basis of your cross and I turn from everything that I know is wrong.
I open my heart now to receive you as my Saviour and Lord. Please come into my life by Your Holy Spirit, to be with me forever. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me the power to live for you all the days of my life, until you welcome me into heaven with you.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
