Children's Programs
Sunday School: We offer a children's program during our worship service for children JK through grade six. Children are seated with their parents initially. The first part of each service begins with a children's song or hymn and sometimes a brief children's message (such as when Rev. Garbe brings his puppet, Tex, to church!). Then teachers lead all the children who wish to go down to the gym for programs where the children come together for friendship, fun, learning, discovering talents, singing, games, and growing in God's truth, grace, and wisdom. Nursery: We have a lovely, bright nursery located off the northwest corner of the gym for children through age three. You may sign your children in or out at any time during either service, and you may also make use of it yourself - there are two rocking chairs, a change table, and a crib, plus lots of toys and books. It is possible to listen to the worship service on a speaker in the room. A small number of dedicated volunteers rotate weekly so that it is easy for your children to get acquainted and become comfortable with them over time. These volunteers are often assisted by teens from our church family. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 905-852-6213.
