VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL '08 We are once again excited to offer a fun, quality and Bible-based kid's V.B.S. this coming July 14th to 18th here at Trinity. It will once again be a half day morning program from Monday to Friday, with a Sunday V.B.S. Celebration Service. Our theme this year is "Power Lab: Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power." Last summer we had the privilege of ministering to 50 kids from our own church family and our broader community. Our goal is to grow our program this summer. We now have more than 20 volunteers, and we have received $1,330 to cover program costs and child sponsorships... We are now taking reservations for children ages 5 to 10. Please call the church office at 905-852-6213. The cost is $40 per child with financial assistance available if requested. We thank you for your continued prayers and support!
SPARROW LAKE FAMILY WEEKEND Plan to join us for a great family holiday weekend - the last long weekend of the summer, Friday, August 29th to Monday, September 1st - at Sparrow Lake Camp, only one hour from Uxbridge (close to Orillia): great fun, great value, and great fellowship! We encourage you to try this weekend which includes cabin accommodation (or bring your own tent/trailer) and food sharing. You won't want to miss: the Canoe Race across the Lake for ice cream (the last boat buys!!); Pastor Alan winning the Volleyball Tournament playing against his sons...; Dylon Boudreau getting buried again in the sand after a Sandcastle Competition; the Best Turkey Roast of the Summer (only John Watling and Denise Boudreau know the secret methods!!); Campfire Songs never heard before; a Treasure Hunt where you never know what you will find; the best sunsets and Sunday worship at the outdoor chapel by the lake; and so much FOOD, FUN and FELLOWSHIP you will ask yourself WHY DIDN'T I COME BEFORE? Here is a chance to get to know our church families better! For more information, just ask Pastor Paul, Bev Squires, Denise Boudreau, or John Watling.

COMING THIS FALL TO TRINITY Starting the last week of September, we will once again offer The Marriage Course. The seven week course, an offshoot of Alpha, is based on Christian principles but designed to be helpful to any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background. It is practical, giving any married couple the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Over seven evenings, following a delicious meal, each couple will have the opportunity to learn and talk about important issues that can get overlooked in the rush of daily life. Privacy is integral - there is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else. Commit now to make time for this invaluable opportunity to strengthen your marriage and family...
AND... Beginning in October, following the Sunday worship service and fellowship time, we will offer a course for youth and adults to strengthen their faith. Pastor Alan will lead us in exploring the "Foundations of our Faith," helping us to keep discovering the vital relevance of the Christian faith in today's world. We will review and reaffirm the core beliefs of Christianity in all times and all places, using the United Church of Canada's 20 Articles of Faith (click here for a preview) and a new book by Charles Colson, The Faith: Given Once, For All.
NT CHALLENGE Let our NT Challenge page help you keep up with this year's reading of the New Testament. You will find this week's daily readings plus some helpful resources. Note: in 2008, the Sunday sermons will cover a passage from the week's New Testament readings...
